The Georgetown Chorale: Welcome!
The Georgetown Chorale is a 60 member singing group that performs classic choral literature with a mix of contemporary literature, opera choruses and show tunes. We invite you to join us. Our mission is to provide for the musical excellence and education of members and give them an opportunity to perform their community service through music. The Chorale meets once a week on Wednesdays and performs a winter holiday concert in December and a benefit concert in April or May.
The Colors of Hope Concert May 1st
Mark your calendars for our spring beneficiary concert, The Colors of Hope, on Saturday, May 1, 7:00 pm at St. Alban's Church, 3001 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Washington, DC. We will sing Franz Schubert's Mass No. 2 in G Major (D.167)and Paul McCartney's Ecce Cor Meum. Concert proceeds will benefit the Bishop John T. Walker School for Boys for low income boys in greater Southeast Washington, DC and Prince George's County, MD.

We are proud to provide community service through music under the direction of Dr. Elaine Rendler-McQueeney. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Victory Church School located at 4835 MacArthur Blvd, NW, Washington, DC. There is a convenient parking lot next to the Church and Metrobus routes D3, D5 and D6 go right by the Church. Come and join us if you are interested in singing! Auditions and rehearsals resume for the spring season on January 20th.
